Briefly describe your work.
I work with clients struggling with a variety of challenges like divorce, a difficult diagnosis, troubled teens, or life transitions. Some simply have a sense that something is missing in their lives, or that they need to make a change but need support. Others are finally able to invest in themselves and want to deal with issues that are holding them back and preventing them from being happy.
What do you love about what you do?
Honestly, I feel blessed every day that I get to help others improve their lives. My mission is to be happy and to help others be happy as well. I find that when people feel better about themselves they’re able to show up more positively in all of their relationships.
How did you start (your work)?
For decades, I suffered from a lack of worthiness, value, and self-confidence myself. I tried therapy and many self-help books, but nothing made a difference until I worked with a coach and was able to unearth the seeds of my negative beliefs. That work changed the trajectory of my life, and now I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Where do you see your work going in the next year… five?
I have a strong desire to expand my reach and the number of people I can positively impact. To that end, I plan to teach more classes and host more workshops.
What do you like best about Beahive?
I love the relaxed, friendly feel at Beahive. As a solopreneur, it’s a nice change of pace to see and interact with others in a calm and peaceful space.
What’s your favorite thing about the local community?
Over the past 25 years, I’ve witnessed its transformation and love the diverse, vibrant, and thriving atmosphere Beacon has developed. I live in Cold Spring and frequently visit the Farmers’ and Flea Markets with my daughters.
