Hudson Valley Forward: Independent Workers Unite!
Presented by Poughkeepsie Journal and BEAHIVE
The nature of work is changing. Jobs are leaving the larger companies of a previous generation for the “gig economy” — where people often work independently or in smaller groups.
According to “Freelancing in America: 2017” within 10 years the majority of the US workforce will be freelancers.
If you’re already one, or expect to be one, join us to connect with one another and learn about some available resources. We’ll have snacks and beer and wine!
