BEAHIVE vs WeWork
In a recent piece on coworking in the national trade publication Journal of Accountancy — the flagship of one of the world’s largest member associations (and with the most paid subscribers of any B2B publication) — exactly two brands were referenced: the Starbucks of coworking, WeWork, of course, and the cool local coffeeshop of coworking, BEAHIVE.
And we got more ink!
The piece, “Are Permanent Offices Passé?” highlights how though coworking is usually “associated with startups and self-employed people, established businesses — including accounting firms — are now also making use of coworking spaces.”
Albany member Matthew VanDerbeck, an auditor and partner with Pattison, Koskey, Howe & Bucci, CPAs, is featured prominently in the piece.
