In 2005 an independent software engineer in California, Brad Neuberg, invited other freelancers to his loft to work alongside him — and in the process created a new way to work: coworking.
He created a place where independent workers could come together, collaborate and reap the rewards of community, increased productivity and creativity. That place eventually became a movement.
Next week approximately 6,000 coworking spaces around the world will celebrate Neuberg’s vision as part of International Coworking Day.
Locally, our Peekskill hive has teamed up with all 5 spaces in the Lower Hudson Valley (Westchester) to provide a Free Coworking Day (and other free offers and discounts) during the week of August 3-7.
