Please give a big round of bzzz to our Beacon community ambassador Micaela Negri, an “actor, creative, and dog lover” with a “love for creativity in the broadest sense and a craving for community.”

I’m a(n)…

actor, creative, and dog lover.

I’m passionate about…

bringing people together through art.

Briefly describe your work.

My work has taken me in many different directions. I have a passion for art and love exploring all kinds of creative outlets, from photography to experimental theater.

I’m also fascinated by real estate and the logistical side of how things get done. I enjoy finding ways to bring both creativity and structure into everything I do.

What do you love about what you do?

I love how different every project I work on is. It keeps me passionate and never bored. I also really enjoy that each project brings new people into the mix. Collaborating and connecting with others is one of the best parts of what I do.

How did you start (your work)?

I used to dream about being Hannah Montana. Mind you, I was five, but still, it felt like an aspirational goal. I think it started there. Then it devolved into a love for creativity in the broadest sense and a craving for community. These things have shaped the path I’m on now, even if it still feels like I’m just getting started. My work continues to evolve and I like it that way.

Where do you see your work going in the next year… five?

As things are constantly in a state of change, I can see for certain a lot of learning in my future. I love knowledge, and I hope to gain a plethora of it within the next five years that can shape my work.

What do you like best about BEAHIVE?

I like best that it brings a sense of community in a world that can often feel quite disconnected.

What’s your favorite thing about the local community?

One of my favorite things about Beacon is how much kindness I find here. There’s a real sense of compassion in the community. It feels warm, welcoming, and genuinely positive.
