Briefly describe your work.
I work as an administrative consultant to entrepreneurs who bring mindfulness practices into the world — women who run wellness retreats, inspirational speakers, holistic healers, community leaders, and women who teach creative expression.
I serve in many different capacities but most often I assist in coordinating large workshops, retreats, classes and gatherings. I also manage the back end of operations in the online portion of these businesses and serve as client care center for some.
What do you love about what you do?
I LOVE supporting business owners who bring new ways of healing, coping, awakening and living to people who need it in this crazy world. I love seeing people connect, transform, grow and awaken. I love helping people love themselves and create magic in their lives. Traveling has also been a perk!
How did you start (your work)?
I worked for New York Life Insurance for 10 years as an assistant to a high-level executive. At the same time I was on a journey of self-discovery through holistic healing, energy work and meditation with a community of women in NYC. I started to offer administrative help and therein, I found that there was a high need for administrative experience and personal support for women in this field.
What do you like best about BEAHIVE?
I love the BEAHIVE values of creating community and the desire to share and grow personally and professionally. I love that it’s right in the middle of town and offers the opportunity to meet, connect and collaborate. There is a nice synergy with the intentions of my own business.
Where do you see your work going in the next year… five?
I plan to focus more on Retreat Concierge and Coordination as well as begin to run my own events (women’s circles and retreats a little closer to home). I desire to create a community, locally, of like-minded folks who support others, offer healing to the masses and thrive together.
