Sat, Oct 26, 2013
10:30 AM - 5:30 PM
“If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it.”
William Arthur Ward
Calling all entrepreneurs, creatives, yogis, teachers, dreamers and doers.
Close your eyes.
Imagine a better you. Imagine a better world.
Now open your eyes. We’re here to help you realize it.
Join Amy Soucy and Scott Tillitt for an intimate retreat in an inspiring setting.
* yoga and meditation
* visioning exercises and mapping
* mindful nature walking
You know what yoga is — but visioning? It’s a vogue-ish high-level exercise in business, urban planning, nonprofits… anywhere where thinking strategically about future direction is helpful.
We’ll use it for our own creative endeavors, whatever they may be. To help create a clear picture of life goals and deepest dreams, personally and professionally.
In short: We’ll move, we’ll play, we’ll envision, we’ll connect. We’ll map out our future in words and images so we can manifest it in reality.
Stay and explore Beacon in the verdant Hudson Valley. We’ll provide lodging options and suggestions of things to do. The fall foliage should be peaking, so you can do some peeping.

A yogi, seeker, creative spirit, and devout student of the mind-body connection, Amy is a New York-based instructor known for her expressive and authentic approach to the art of awareness. With extensive training in both the Integral and Anusara methods of hatha yoga, Amy offers her skills to a diverse range of students in a variety of settings. As a performing singer/songwriter, Amy is passionate about using the practice of yoga to support and illuminate the creative process. Yoga for Creators aims, through awareness and exploration, to help creatives tap into, develop and nurture a thriving relationship to their own ever-unfolding process.
Scott is a PR/communications consultant, social entrepreneur, community catalyst and co-founder and board co-chair of the nonprofit Re>Think Local (and BEAHIVE founder). He’s followed his bliss for years and has used visioning exercises to help bring clarity to his own path and others. He also has a strong meditation practice, which keeps him centered and positive and his mind agile and creative (relatively speaking).
