Inspired by the coworking and localism movements in the early aughts, Beahive is a pioneering network of hives for work and belonging.
A place where entrepreneurs, creatives and techies mix with nonprofit leaders, activists and community organizers. A member-powered work club for entrepreneurs, freelancers, remote workers, consultants, and microbusinesses.
But we’re more than that (see our vision). Since 2009 we’ve engaged thousands of denizens and dozens of community groups and nonprofits — facilitating life-changing connections and important conversations — through membership, events and programs.
As pioneers in the coworking movement we’ve leveraged our years of experience to create a warm, comfortable, inviting, productive place to work, meet, collaborate and socialize.
Why is Beahive spelled funny?
It’s a cute reference to Beacon, NY (Bea-hive, Bea-con…).
The original Beahive opened in 2009 in the heart of Beacon’s Main Street.
MEMBERSHIP
Beahive is a community. We have a few levels of membership so you can be a part of the community at the commitment level that works for you.

PRIVATE OFFICES
Our all-inclusive “resident studios” are suitable for 1 to 4 or more people and include 24/7 access to shared lounges and open coworking spaces, kitchen, meeting rooms, equipment, and amenities.
We have 14 studios in our Beacon flagship and another 7 in our Cold Spring annex.
MEETING + EVENT SPACE
We’re also an event and meeting space, available to non-members for rent.
Because of the thoughtfully designed space, the hive of activity happening within, and our community focus, Beahive is a truly unique venue for workshops, group meetings, events, and film and photo shoots.

DAY PASS
Just passing through and need a place to work for a day (or two or three)? You’re welcome to buy a Day Pass and get access to communal spaces (by appointment).
If you love us as much as we know you will and decide to become a member (within a month of your Day Pass), we’ll roll the cost of the Day Pass into the membership fee.
JOIN US!
We encourage potential members to schedule a visit, check out the space and the other members, and then choose the membership plan that works for you.
