Howland Wolves
Beacon’s veteran band has played locally for a decade, doing blues, jazz and originals. Christopher Ruhe on guitar and vocals, Chris Shann on saxophone, Olu Akiwumi-Assani on drums, Raphael Figueroa on percussion, and Dassi Cabo on bass.

Zenote Sompantle + Creek Iversen
Zenote views music as a world voice that connects us all. His music is best described as an intricate blending of flamenco, folk, gospel, reggae, polka and cumbia and mariachi styles. He has traveled by canoe deep into the mountains to play for rural and remote tribal people, and he has performed in NYC at numerous festivals, for major radio stations, and with world renowed musicians such as Pete Seeger, Natasha Ramos, Theory and Rednex Poetry Squad.

DJ Phil Hernandez
Spins an eclectic mix of electro, funk, garage, kraut rock, post-punk, afro beat and hip hop. He is also one-half of the music production team The Elegant Too that composes music for film, TV and artist collaborations. They’ve done numerous remixes over their 12-year career, including tracks for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, They Might Be Giants, P-Diddy and Notorious B.I.G.
