ALBANY

Our Albany hive opened in March 2012 in the Capital Region at 418 Broadway (Downtown Albany), right across from the gorgeous Gothic SUNY System Administration Building — where you’ll find a farmers market every Thursday and picnic tables/benches. Just one block to the Hudson River walkway.

Wondering why BEAHIVE is spelled funny?

As pioneers in the coworking movement we’ve leveraged our years of experience to create a warm, comfortable, inviting, productive place to work, meet, and collaborate.

We have several areas of open coworking space, 11 private studio offices, 4 meeting rooms (available to members and non-members), 6 restrooms, and 3 kitchenettes spread over 9,000 square feet on 3 floors. High-speed fiber internet feeds a high-performance Meraki Wi-Fi network throughout the space.

Our main floor is a former architect’s studio — with a mix of shared work areas, including meeting spaces and desks/tables, and a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, bottled water and coffee/tea. A surround sound system with Alexa pumps productive music in the open workspace.

Our upper floors have private offices (which we call resident studios) and shared kitchenettes, conference room, lounge area with seating for guests, and more open coworking space.

Parking is available in a municipal garage just behind BEAHIVE.

We attract members not only from Albany but also surrounding towns — Troy, Rensselaer, Colonie and beyond. See our current members and our 2012 Founding Members.

Our partner in the Albany hive is Tracy Metzger of TL Metzger & Associates.
