NYSSBC Hudson Valley Regional Congress
Thu, Nov 6, 2014
6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
How are state and local governments helping to build a sustainable economy? What are they doing right? What are the existing roadblocks to growing a sustainable economy? What needs to change?
The New York State Sustainable Business Council (NYSSBC) invites you to be a part of shaping the first-ever policy agenda for a sustainable economy in New York State.
NYSSBC is convening business and community leaders for a series of regional events around the state to discuss challenges impeding responsible business practices, demystify the policymaking process, identify priority issues, and brainstorm solutions that reflect the values of the triple bottom line (people, planet and profit).
The Big Themes:
- Inspiration: Hear stories of successful collaborative policy change that have paved the way for sustainable business practices in New York and elsewhere.
- Information: Learn from other trailblazers in New York’s sustainable business community about their priorities for advocacy efforts across the state.
- Impact: Help create a state-wide network of business leaders and organizations and craft the first comprehensive policy agenda for a sustainable economy in New York State.
RSVP (and questions): Please email Laura Niederhofer
