A group of grannies (and allies) watched in disgust, disbelief, and pain as migrating children and families are separated, tortured, and dehumanized.

They decided to do something about: by forming Grannies Respond and traveling in caravan to McAllen, Texas, (on the Mexico border) with a message of basic human decency.
