I’m a(n)…
adventurer looking for my next quest.
I’m passionate about…
helping big and beautiful ideas get over the variety of hurdles the real world can throw at them.
Briefly describe your work.
A little bit of everything, from building fences to revising and re-formatting newsletters.
What do you love about what you do?
Finding the small, random, and unusual connections that can help big things happen and plant seeds for new things.
How did you start (your work)?
I got my start here in Beacon, one of the last classes out of the old high school! Then I went all over the place: SF, London, Philly, and even some time in New Zealand. Along the way I’ve worked for universities and libraries. Most often as the person who has to get a big idea into something real.
Where do you see your work going in the next year… five?
I’m looking to get more involved locally; there’s been so much change here and I want to take a more active role in some of that change.
What do you like best about Beahive?
I’ve loved seeing Beahive’s commitment to the community. In addition to supporting the local economy and businesses, they have also supported a great range of community organizations and efforts.
What’s your favorite thing about the local community?
The new location in Beacon looks fantastic and has already hosted a bunch of great events I’ve been able to attend.
Anything else you want us to know?
I’m a huge fan of pub quizzes and have been thinking about starting a book club.
