Briefly describe your work.
I create all types of designs for all types of businesses, but my favorite things include at least a little bit of my own illustration.
What do you love about what you do?
I love getting to be creative. On some days that might mean strategically, and conceptually other times it means visually.
How did you start (your work)?
In college I majored in English and Art. But I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do when I graduated. I like helping people, so I got my masters in School Counseling. I missed being creative, so I tried out graphic design and I’ve been doing it for over 10 years!
Where do you see your work going in the next year… five?
I’m hoping to get some fun projects that I can really sink my teeth into. I’ve also always wanted to paint a mural, so hopefully that’s in the cards as well!
What do you like best about BEAHIVE?
As a freelancer I work alone a lot, and BEAHIVE lets me be part of a community.
What’s your favorite thing about the local community?
I just moved to Albany about two weeks ago (August 2022), but so far I’ve met some friendly people and I’m excited to learn more about the community.
